Regina Daniels has brushed off criticism after a TikTok video of her billionaire husband, Ned Nwoko, set to the controversial soundtrack “husbands are useless,” sparked outrage among Nigerians who found it disrespectful.
The Nollywood actress responded in a playful tone, telling fans to “chill” while clarifying that the video was simply her way of jumping on the viral Mama G trend.
“Guys, guys, guys, how about now? Why are you attacking me like this? This video, if it wasn’t me, it would be normal, you people should talk true. I just wanted to do my Mama G song… All of you take waka!” she said lightheartedly.
She further joked that critics should calm down and not put unnecessary ideas in her husband’s head.
Captioning her response clip, Regina added:
“Abeg make this Una talk no too make my odogwu reason anything o… Una no go stop my alert this Monday morning ijn.”
Despite the backlash, the actress made it clear she won’t let social media noise interfere with her family life or her Monday morning “alerts.”
