Ad-Network Shift: Raptive Lowers Eligibility Threshold to 25K Monthly Pageviews

Ad-Network Shift: Raptive Lowers Eligibility Threshold to 25K Monthly Pageviews

In a significant move for digital publishers, Raptive has officially revised its entry criteria, lowering the minimum monthly page-view requirement from 100,000 to just 25,000

The change, announced internally and confirmed via creators’ forums, opens doors to a wider range of sites while still maintaining quality and traffic standards.

What’s New?

  • Sites with 25,000–99,999 monthly pageviews can now apply for Raptive’s monetisation tier previously limited to much larger publishers.

  • Significant traffic expectations remain: at least 50% of audience from the U.S., U.K., Canada, New Zealand or Australia, correct Google Analytics setup, long-form content, and a domain of more than 6 months old.

  • Legacy threshold of 100,000+ pageviews still applies to top-tier publishers seeking advanced features, with a 40% Tier-1 traffic requirement.

  • Previous service tier “Rise” (50,000-99,999 views) is being phased out, consolidated under the broader inclusive model.

What It Means for Publishers

For smaller and mid-sized publishers, the change is a game-changer:

  • Faster access to premium ad rates and Raptive’s creator services.

  • Validates sites with Tier-1 audiences that were stuck under the old threshold.

  • But standards still matter – click volumes matter less than engaged, high-value traffic.

For large publishers, the bar hasn’t lowered in terms of quality expectations; the focus remains on premium inventory and top-tier demand.

Why the Shift?

Industry analysts suggest several drivers behind the move:

  • Competitive pressure from other networks like Mediavine and AdThrive, who are vying to onboard high-quality mid-tier publishers.

  • Market changes: As audience monetisation tools evolve, smaller creators now generate significant ad value when their traffic is region-rich and engagement-strong.

  • Creator-first positioning: Raptive’s repositioning to emphasise accessibility and diversity aligns with the lower entry bar.

Publisher Checklist Before Applying

  • Maintain ≥ 25,000 monthly pageviews.

  • Ensure 50%+ of traffic comes from Tier-1 markets (US, UK, Canada, NZ, AUS).

  • Use Google Analytics properly and verify your site setup.

  • Feature long-form, original content with meaningful human involvement.

  • Ensure your domain is at least 6 months old and the site is ad-management ready.

  • Avoid AI-generated/mass-cycled content – Raptive emphasises “authentic, creator-driven” output.

As Raptive lowers the barrier to entry, more independent creators now have the opportunity to partner with a major ad-network while adhering to quality standards. For many sites previously stuck below the 100K threshold, this update represents new monetisation potential — provided they meet the traffic quality and region criteria.
