Popular Nollywood actor, Uzor Arukwe, has advised single women to prioritize self-development and personal growth before aspiring to marry a rich and caring man.
Uzor Arukwe gave the advice while responding to the online praises showered on his character, Odogwu, a compassionate billionaire lover, in the movie Love In Every World 2. Many fans had described Odogwu as their “ideal man,” prompting the actor to share a deeper perspective on relationships and value.
He noted that the character of Chioma, played by reality TV star Bambam, was already a hardworking and valuable woman before Odogwu began supporting her, emphasizing that the billionaire’s attraction was rooted in her industrious nature.
According to him, Odogwu didn’t need to question Chioma’s contributions to their relationship because it was evident she was a woman of substance.
“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman,” Uzor Arukwe wrote on his X handle.
He encouraged women to build value and establish themselves first, saying that valuable men naturally gravitate toward women who have purpose and drive.
“So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle,” he added.
