Veteran Nollywood actor Emeka Ike has shared a heartwarming video of himself and his South African wife, Yolanda Pfeiffer, months after they welcomed their first child together.
The 58-year-old actor posted the clip on Instagram on Wednesday, showing him handing his car key to Yolanda before playfully filming her as she walked away.
He captioned the post, “Step in my shoes and go crazy…”
The video quickly drew attention online, as fans and celebrities flooded the comment section with mixed reactions.
Actor Jerry Amilo wrote, “They won’t understand 💪.”
Another fan, Samson Kings, teased, “U don dey kiss another one now ooo hmmm.”
Nkiyasi Dube commented, “Wait, this is my fellow South African 😍😂.”
While Austin Francis added, “Omoh this is plenty ooo Legend ❤️ you get eyes abeg ❤️.”
One follower, KC, prayed for him, saying, “At last, your joy is restored and no one will ever take it away from you again in Jesus mighty Holy Name. Amen 🙏🔥.”
Emeka Ike and Yolanda welcomed their baby girl, Chidera Ike, on March 21, 2024—a day that also marked the actor’s birthday.
The couple tied the knot quietly a few years after Emeka’s first marriage to Suzanne Emma ended in controversy. The pair, who married around 2000 and had four children, had their union dissolved by a Lagos Island Customary Court in 2017 after Suzanne accused the actor of physical and emotional abuse.
Emeka Ike denied the allegations, claiming he never assaulted his ex-wife. He further alleged that the marital crisis led to the closure of his St. Nicholas College in Magodo, Lagos, and caused him to lose investments worth over ₦480 million.
Once one of Nollywood’s biggest romantic leads in the early 2000s, Emeka Ike is fondly remembered for his roles in films such as “Deadly Affair,” “Love Affair,” and “Not Man Enough.”
