DJ Cuppy has reassured her fans that she is doing well after announcing a temporary break from social media to embark on a 21-day biblical fast and personal retreat.
The DJ and philanthropist announced on Instagram that it was her first time stepping away from her online presence for an extended period.
She said the decision followed weeks of reflection, during which she realised the fast was something she “needed more than ever.”
In her message, Cuppy described the break as a time for personal healing, spiritual focus, and quiet reflection.
“Never done this before. I’ll be offline and taking a social media break for a little while,” she wrote.
“I’m starting 2026 with a 21-day biblical fast and after the last few weeks I realised I needed it more than ever. I need time for myself and time being hidden with God. I have a few personal things I need to process quietly, but please do not worry about me — I am okay.”
Acknowledging that her absence may feel unusual to followers, especially given her habit of posting daily, Cuppy encouraged fans not to be concerned. She emphasized that the break is intentional and temporary.
“I know I usually post on Instagram every day, so this feels strange even for me,” she added. “I will be back. Just taking a moment to reset and reconnect.”
Since her announcement, fans and supporters have flooded her comment section with messages of encouragement, commending her for prioritising her spiritual and personal wellbeing as she begins the new year.
