Popular Nigerian entertainer and social media personality, Peller, has resumed his livestream following a week-long detention, opening up about the ordeal and the events that led to his arrest.
The magician revealed that he was detained after being involved in a car crash, stressing that the incident was not intentional. Speaking emotionally during his livestream on Friday, Peller confirmed his release and expressed deep relief at regaining his freedom.
“We’re free, they don free me. Don’t worry this time around, una go enjoy. I suffered. I was in prison for one week. Things were stressful for me,” he told his fans.
He explained that he consistently maintained his innocence while in custody, saying he had repeatedly informed the police and relevant authorities that the crash was accidental. Peller also took time to thank his supporters, crediting their public outcry and advocacy for his eventual release.
“Thank you guys for coming out for me to tell them to free me, you shall never perish,” he added.
Describing the past week as emotionally draining, the entertainer nonetheless appeared upbeat during the livestream, reassuring fans that he had no ill intentions and was grateful for the overwhelming support he received.
