Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has explained why she has no plans to remove the tattoos on her body despite recently recommitting to her Christian faith and openly sharing her spiritual journey.
The 40-year-old actress addressed the issue during a social media interaction with a fan who asked whether she intended to remove her tattoos after renewing her devotion to Christianity.
In her response, Tonto revealed that she had considered tattoo removal but ultimately decided against it due to concerns about the effects of laser treatment on her skin.
“Yes love, I would have, but I’m stuck with them and I ain’t doing no laser to spoil my good skin. And the good thing is Jesus don’t care,” she said.
In recent weeks, the actress has shared several videos and posts online showing moments of prayer and speaking in tongues, which she says reflect her renewed walk with God and deepened spiritual commitment.
Beyond her faith journey, Tonto Dikeh has also spoken about making intentional changes in her personal and professional life.
According to her, she is setting firmer boundaries and will be more selective about the people and brands she associates with going forward.
She stressed that respect for her values and beliefs is now non-negotiable, noting that her growth involves aligning every aspect of her life with what she believes and stands for.
The actress’s comments have since sparked online conversations, with fans expressing mixed opinions and others applauding her honesty and personal approach to faith.
