Aminatu Papapa (born September 27, 1985, 40 years old) is a native of Epe in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Her parents are Mr and Mrs Adekogbe. She grew up in Lagos, and her primary school was Apostolic Primary School, Ebute-Metta, where she also completed her primary education. For secondary education, she attended Oke Odo High School in Ebute-Metta.
Aminatu then proceeded to the College of Education, Akoka, and later Yaba College of Technology. Having gained a strong educational background from her alma mater, she later entered the entertainment industry.
Career
Aminatu Papapa started acting around 2005 and became a professional actress in 2011. She played many roles as a hoodlum and a comic, performing well under the guidance of Murphy Afolabi and other mentors.
The turning point of her career came in 2015, when the Yoruba comedy film Aminatu Papapa, which she produced single-handedly, became a huge hit; henceforth, she was called by this nickname.
