Asake Emerges Most-Streamed Artist of All Time on Spotify Nigeria

Asake Debuts Bold New Look in Striking Portrait

Singer Asake has emerged as the most-streamed artist of all time on Spotify Nigeria.

The global streaming platform released its list of the top five most-streamed artists in Nigeria to mark the fifth anniversary of its operations in the country. He claimed the top spot, followed by Wizkid in second place and Seyi Vibez in third. Burna Boy ranked fourth, while Davido completed the top five.

Spotify also unveiled the most-streamed songs of all time in Nigeria. The Mr Money crooner again led the chart, with his track “Remember” taking the number one position. “Dealer” by Ayo Maff and Fireboy DML ranked second, while “Awolowo” by Fido placed third. Wizkid’s “Kese” came fourth, and Asake’s “Lonely At The Top” secured the fifth spot.

Nigerian music also dominated Spotify Kenya’s all-time most-streamed songs chart. Ruger’s “Asiwaju” ranked first, followed by Ayra Starr’s “Rush” in second and Fireboy’s “Bandana” in third. Kenyan singer Bein’s hit “Inauma” took fourth place, while Asake’s “Lonely At The Top” ranked fifth.

On Spotify Ghana, “Wotowoto Seasoning” by Odumodublvck featuring Black Sherif topped the all-time streaming chart. Asake’s “Lonely At The Top” placed second, while the third, fourth, and fifth spots were occupied by songs from Black Sherif.
