Nollywood filmmaker and actress Omoni Oboli has celebrated the first anniversary of her romantic drama Love in Every Word, marking a year since the film premiered online.
Taking to her Instagram page late Monday, Oboli shared the movie poster while reflecting on the impact the film has had since its release.
“Besties, it has been one year 🎉 One year of God’s grace and your incredible love for LOVE IN EVERY WORD, the movie that shifted culture and captivated hearts around the world,” she wrote.
“And over 32 million views later, you still love it just as much.”
The film premiered on YouTube on March 7, 2025, as a digital-first release and quickly gained massive attention from audiences.
Within its first 24 hours, the movie recorded more than two million views, and by the end of its first week, it had crossed 11 million views.
According to available figures, the film has now amassed over 32 million views on Oboli’s official YouTube channel.
At one point, the movie was briefly removed from YouTube following a copyright claim, but it was later restored and continued its strong viewership run.
Written by Mfon-Abasi Michael Inyang and produced by Omoni Oboli, the story follows Chioma and Odogwu as they navigate love, cultural expectations, and personal growth.
The film stars Bamike “Bam Bam” Olawunmi-Adenibuyan as Chioma and Uzor Arukwe as Odogwu.
Other cast members include Amanda Iriekpen, Thelma Chukwunwen, Susan Jimah, Osereme Inegbenebor, and Daniel Rocky Obiora.
Following the success of the original movie, Oboli released a sequel titled Love in Every Word: The Wedding in late 2025, which also generated strong online interest and surpassed one million views within hours of its release.
