Ini Dima Okojie Shares Funny Pregnancy Craving Experience

Nollywood actress Ini Dima Okojie has amused fans online after sharing a funny yet emotional story about how her recent pregnancy cravings made her cry over food.

The actress, who is expecting her first child, opened up about the experience in an Instagram video.

According to Ini, she previously believed stories about pregnant women crying over food cravings were exaggerated until she personally experienced it herself.

“You know how they say pregnant women cry for food, I used to think there is no way,” she said.

“I was like, how? It’s not that serious.”

The actress explained that the craving started after she came across a social media post involving Funke Akindele visiting a restaurant in Maryland, Lagos.

The sight of the rice meal immediately triggered a strong craving she could not ignore.

According to her, she quickly arranged for her personal assistant and driver to purchase the food on her behalf.

However, things became emotional when the restaurant reportedly refused her request to package extra stew separately, citing policy.

Ini described herself as someone who loves stew and said she became desperate to get additional portions.

“I wanted them to dish the rice and stew separately, and I wanted to buy extra stew,” she explained.

She said the situation escalated after repeated attempts to convince the restaurant staff failed, eventually leaving her emotional during a phone conversation.

“I started crying, and the lady caved in to me,” she recalled humorously.

The actress’s story quickly generated reactions online, with many mothers and pregnant women relating to her experience and sharing similar stories about intense cravings during pregnancy.

Others joked that pregnancy cravings are among the few situations in which food can suddenly become an emotional emergency.

Ini Dima Okojie has continued to receive warm support from fans since announcing her pregnancy, with many enjoying the actress’s openness and humorous storytelling about motherhood experiences.
