Nigerian nightlife personality and influencer Yhemolee has publicly lashed out at X influencer OloriOfOloris following an online exchange that escalated into a heated social media confrontation.
The dispute reportedly began after Yhemolee reacted to viral discussions about the divorce controversy involving an X user identified as Ugo and his ex-wife.
His reaction, “Ku orire omo Iya mi,” quickly drew attention online, with many users debating the meaning and intent behind the statement.
OloriOfOloris later joined the conversation and reposted the phrase while commenting:
“‘Ku orire omo Iya mi’ from Yhemolee is crazy.”
The remark appeared to anger Yhemolee, who responded with a series of emotional posts on Snapchat.
In his response, he accused the influencer of discussing him repeatedly for years and warned her against mentioning his family publicly.
“You don dey talk about person for over 3 years dem no send you and you no still rest,” he wrote.
He further expressed frustration over what he described as constant online provocation, despite his efforts to avoid controversy.
“Leave my family out of your stupid mouth,” he added.
The situation escalated further as Yhemolee insulted the influencer’s appearance and accused her of being obsessed with him since 2023.
Some of the comments drew online criticism for insulting physical appearance.
The exchange has since generated widespread reactions across Nigerian social media, with users divided over the confrontation.
Some defended Yhemolee, arguing that public figures have the right to protect their families from repeated online commentary and criticism.
Others criticized the tone of his response, especially the personal insults and appearance-based remarks directed at the influencer.
The incident has again highlighted the increasingly tense relationship between Nigerian celebrities and commentary accounts on platforms like X and Snapchat, where online discussions frequently escalate into personal feuds.
It also reflects the growing culture of public callouts, influencer commentary, and celebrity reactions, which continue to shape conversations in Nigeria’s digital entertainment space.
