The ongoing fallout from Frank Edoho’s failed marriage has taken another dramatic turn after business executive Amaka Okeke publicly denied allegations linking her romantically to the veteran TV host.
Okeke’s name recently surfaced after Frank Edoho’s estranged wife, Sandra Onyenuchenuya, accused the media personality of infidelity during their marriage and allegedly mentioned women she claimed were involved with him.
Now, the executive director of business development at Optiva Capital Partners is pushing back strongly against the accusations, describing them as false, damaging, and malicious.
In a statement shared on Instagram on Friday, Okeke clarified the nature of her relationship with Edoho and insisted there was no affair between them.
According to her, they first met in 2024 strictly for business, then became friends in 2025, while the TV host was reportedly dealing with personal challenges.
“Over the past few hours, my name has been wrongly linked to false and baseless allegations currently circulating online,” she wrote.
“For clarity, Frank Edoho and I met in 2024 on strictly business related matters and only became good friends in May 2025 when he was dealing with a personal matter which I will not bring up here for privacy reasons.”
Okeke expressed disappointment over the online speculation, warning that the spread of unverified claims could damage reputations, families, and careers.
“Any narrative beyond this is completely untrue,” she stated.
“I am deeply disappointed to see my name attached to narratives that are malicious, baseless, and entirely inaccurate.”
She also confirmed that her legal team had been notified and may pursue legal action over the allegations.
“My legal team have been informed accordingly and will take action in due course,” she added.
The controversy comes amid renewed public attention on Frank Edoho’s personal life after he recently opened up about his separation from Sandra and the emotional toll the failed marriage had on him.
Earlier this week, the longtime host of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire Nigeria said he had slowly begun moving on from the collapse of his marriage and appreciated supporters who reached out with prayers and encouragement.
However, things escalated after Sandra publicly accused him of cheating during their relationship.
Frank Edoho and Sandra married in 2013 and welcomed two children together before eventually separating.
The television host later confirmed that the marriage officially ended in December 2022, although divorce proceedings reportedly continued privately for nearly two years.
Before Sandra, Edoho was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang, with whom he shares three children.
As the situation continues unfolding publicly online, reactions have remained divided across social media.
While some supporters sympathize with Sandra over her allegations, others have criticized the growing trend of publicly naming individuals in celebrity marital disputes without concrete evidence.
