The Olu of Warri, Ogiame Atuwatse III, has celebrated his wife Olori Ivie Atuwatse III on her 40th birthday with an emotional tribute shared on Instagram.
In the lengthy message posted on Friday, the monarch praised Olori Ivie for her impact as a wife, mother, queen, and advocate for women and community development.
“Today, as heaven marks your 40th year, my heart overflows with gratitude to God for the extraordinary gift that you are,” the monarch wrote.
He described her as a woman of grace, strength, wisdom, and compassion whose influence extends beyond their home to the Warri Kingdom, Africa, and countless lives.
“You are a rare light, my love. A builder of hope. A nurturer of destiny,” he stated.
The Olu of Warri also reflected on their relationship, describing Olori Ivie as his peace, safe place, and answered prayer.
“Through every season, you have remained my peace, my safe place, my answered prayer, and the steady heartbeat of our home,” he added.
According to the monarch, he believes the new decade of her life represents an even greater phase of purpose, influence, and impact.
“This new decade isn’t just another chapter, it is the unveiling of an even greater expression of your purpose,” he wrote.
Olori Ivie also shared her own reflective birthday message, expressing gratitude for growth, faith, and divine direction as she entered a new chapter of life.
“May His wisdom order your steps and His purpose keep flowing through everything you do,” she wrote in part.
Ivie Okunbo, formerly known as Ivie Okunbo, is the daughter of the late businessman Hosa Okunbo and is widely known for her work in women’s empowerment and community development.
She and Ogiame Atuwatse III got married in 2014 and have three children together.
