Cassie Ventura Says She Has Left the United States and Has No Plans to Return

Cassie Ventura’s husband indirectly slams Sean 'Diddy' Combs over hotel video

Singer and model Cassie Ventura has revealed that she no longer lives in the United States and does not intend to return, according to newly surfaced court documents related to an ongoing legal dispute.

The disclosure emerged through a declaration filed on May 1, in which Ventura requested that a separate lawsuit involving male escort Clayton Howard be transferred from California to New York for logistical reasons.

In the filing, Ventura stated:

“I am not a resident of the State of California. I reside outside of the United States. I do not intend to move back to the United States.”

While confirming that she now lives abroad, the singer did not reveal the country she currently resides in.

Ventura argued that relocating proceedings to New York would make travel significantly easier for her as the case continues.

The legal matter stems from allegations connected to events that Howard claims involved Ventura and music executive Sean Combs. Those allegations became part of broader public scrutiny of Combs and were referenced during his high-profile federal criminal trial.

Ventura became a central witness during the proceedings, which began in May 2025 and lasted approximately seven weeks.

While testifying, she recounted details of her relationship with Combs, whom she dated for several years before their 2018 breakup. She also discussed her 2023 civil lawsuit against him, which was resolved through a settlement reportedly worth $20 million.

The trial drew extensive media attention because of the serious federal charges brought against Combs, including racketeering and sex trafficking related allegations involving Ventura and another woman identified in court as “Jane.”

In July 2025, a jury found Combs guilty on two counts related to transportation to engage in prostitution while acquitting him of more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges. He was subsequently sentenced to 50 months in prison.

Ventura’s latest court filing provides a rare glimpse into her life after the highly publicised legal battles.

Since concluding her testimony, she has largely maintained a low profile, focusing on her family and personal life. During the 2025 trial, she testified while pregnant with her third child, a detail that drew widespread attention.

The revelation that she has permanently relocated abroad has sparked fresh interest among fans and observers, though she appears determined to keep the details of her new home private.

Although she did not disclose where she now lives, the filing suggests that Cassie is intentionally creating distance from a chapter that brought intense public attention and personal challenges. For the singer, the move appears less about geography and more about turning the page and focusing on the life she wants to build.
