Media personality and Big Brother Naija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and his wife, Cynthia Obi-Uchendu, are preparing to welcome another addition to their family.
The couple, who have been married for nearly a decade, are expecting their third child together, with Cynthia announcing the exciting news in a heartfelt social media post accompanied by beautiful maternity photos showing off her growing baby bump.
Sharing the joyful update, Cynthia reflected on how different each pregnancy has been despite having gone through the experience before.
According to her, carrying their third child has reminded her that no two pregnancies are ever the same.
“Yup! Seven years later and we’re here again. That’s 10 years since my first rodeo,” she wrote.
She admitted she initially thought previous pregnancies would make the journey feel easier, but reality proved otherwise.
“It’s so interesting how you think experience makes things easier or more familiar, but they never lied when they said every pregnancy is different. I’m just beyond grateful to God for being my guide through this journey because, omo, what a journey it has been.”
Cynthia thanks God and celebrates her growing family
The expectant mum also expressed gratitude to God for seeing her through another pregnancy while appreciating the unwavering support she has received from her family.
She revealed that their two daughters, Jewel and Rubi, have been eagerly looking forward to becoming big sisters once again.
Cynthia also showered praises on her husband, Ebuka, describing him as her biggest source of strength throughout the pregnancy.
“I’m beyond thankful for JEWEL and RUBI, who have been even more excited than me about a new sibling, and for le boo EBUKA, who’s been a proper solid rock.”
In her usual playful manner, she teased the television host about returning to diaper duties after believing that chapter of his life was over.
“I know you thought you were done changing diapers, sha. (You are old) lol. Don’t worry, at least the Fab Five is now complete. Or is it?”
She rounded off the announcement by expressing gratitude for God’s faithfulness while looking forward to the next chapter for her family.
“God has been so faithful, and I honestly can’t express how grateful I am for His love. Definitely looking forward to this new dawn and the blessings that will follow.”
