The online feud between Nigerian skit maker and streamer Carter Efe and his baby mama, Elma, has taken a fresh turn after she publicly responded to comments he made about her during an X Space.
The latest exchange comes after Carter Efe warned Elma to stop mentioning his name, insisting he has moved on and no longer wants any form of communication with her.
During the live conversation on X, the content creator dismissed suggestions linking him to his ex-partner and declared that he is single.
“Please stop mentioning my name. I am single. The only girlfriend I have is Twitch. I will never talk to you again.”
His comments followed Elma’s earlier social media post in which she claimed that a friend had worn her “man’s cap”—a statement many online interpreted as a reference to Carter Efe.
Elma, however, was quick to respond, accusing the streamer of deliberately creating the impression that she is still emotionally attached to him or trying to rekindle their relationship.
In a strongly worded post, she insisted that any attempt to repair their relationship ended months ago and urged Carter Efe to stop bringing her up publicly.
“I hate it when a particular ex is trying so hard to prove a point that the other person is obsessed with them and wants them back.
“Yes, I tried to fix what I didn’t break a long time ago but bro it’s been months now. Move on and stop calling me names on your channel.”
Elma also expressed regret over their past relationship, saying the one thing she wishes she could change is having a child with the skit maker. Despite that, she emphasised that her love for their child remains unchanged.
“I just hate that this kind of person is the father of my child. That’s one thing I’ll always regret, but at the end of the day that’s my child. Y’all should tell your fave to focus on his ‘successful self’ and leave me the f**k alone.”
The exchange has since generated reactions across social media, with supporters of both personalities weighing in on the ongoing fallout. While some sympathised with Elma and encouraged both parties to settle their differences privately for the sake of their child, others defended Carter Efe’s decision to distance himself from the controversy publicly.
