Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Abi has revealed that her husband was initially against her decision to join the reality show, saying the news sparked an argument between them.
Abi, a chef and model from Osun State, shared the experience during her introduction on the premiere night of the show’s 11th season.
According to her, her husband questioned why she wanted to participate and did not support the idea at first.
“When my husband heard I was coming to the show, he actually fought with me, asking what am I going to do there. Initially, he didn’t support me,” she said.
Despite his initial concerns, Abi said she was able to convince him and is now focused on making the most of the opportunity.
She also revealed that she met her husband on TikTok, with their online friendship eventually leading to marriage.
Abi said her goal in the BBNaija house is to have fun while taking advantage of the opportunities the platform offers.
Big Brother Naija Season 11, themed “Show Ya Sef,” premiered on Sunday, July 26, with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu introducing the first batch of housemates competing for the record ₦160 million grand prize.
