One of the best Nigerian celebrity, singer and artiste Burna Boy is again in the news.
And this time around, he is being dragged for his remix of a South African song.
Madjozi who is a south African singer, rapper and artiste now drags Burna boy for own it remix.
When Burna Boy did Jerusalema remix, it was loved by everyone and he says
He put in a whole lot of energy to make the song good. He also says the aim is to reunite Africans.
“Own It is NOT my song.If my voice is on it however it should have been properly cleared.” Burna says.
“If the remix wasn’t cleared with the label(Atlantic US)it automatically gets flagged.” He explains.
“Nothing to do with me personally or any award. Always best to reach out professionally. Congrats on BET’s!” He concluded.
The South African rapper spontaneously replied the African Giant for his claims.
“To believe this I would have to believe that the song got automatically flagged a month late by coincidence”. She says.
“When they said YOU wanted it down they meant your label”. She added.
“A big international label would release a song without clearing it It’s a lot Burna. Let’s keep it”. She concluded.
