Popular On Air Personality, Toolz Oniru have launched an attack on parents who are used to employing underage children as helper in their house as she noted that they deserve to be in jail.
Molestation and assault of young children have become a trending story in Nigeria for the past
few years as some parents have become prominent for employing underage children as
their house-boy or house–girl.
This issues have been spoken about on various occasions but some parents are still indulging
in such act, a move that has now been condemned by Toolz.
Toolz who couldn’t hide her frustration took to her official Instagram page to back a post that l
underage children working as a nanny or house help as a slave.
Sharing her thoughts on this, Toolz noted that parents who are still doing this act at the m
time deserved to be jailed.
Reacting to the post, she wrote:
Saw this earlier.
Very important conversation to have.
And if you have an underage child that you’re maltreating (paying peanuts, beating, starving etc) you deserve to be in jail.
I will never understand people that treat those handling their childcare badly.
These are people that you expect to look after your children in a loving and caring manner o!
