A track almost one year in the making. In “Me&You” , Kamba finds himself reflecting on good vibe memories with his Kambalina(Fumi).
How unsure he was at first if that night was gonna go as planned due to previous occasions (which the listener can hear as Kamba laments all through the first verse)
Me and you is a follow up to Kamba’s last single titled Ukwu Nka , reflecting on how he came to write his latest song, he said:
“I wanted to combine both the melodic tenor and aggressive vibrato part of my vocals and present them as one in this song which I achieved” Kamba says.
An instrumental he wasn’t interested in at first when sent to him by a close friend(PapiNation),one midnight during one of Kamba’s late night vibe sessions, the instrumental randomly played and that was it, he fell in love that night with the Delicious Tunes produced beat.
“Immediately I started writing on the beat, my emotions wouldn’t cease to halt I just kept on going on and on kus it’s a song with a real life scenario every youth can relate to instantly”.
With lines such as “so I pick up my phone and call, ring ring ring na my song be the ringtone” Kamba delivers yet another relatable Afro-Pop/Afro-EM(electronic music)
masterpiece! Co-written /Co-Directed by PapiNation, “Me&You” is a song that comes with a repeat value package with a first time listen (don’t say I didn’t tell you).
With a tempo of 134 BPM(beats per minute) you are sure to vibe along when listening to this jam.
