It’s currently a sad day in the camp of award-winning Afropop singer and songwriter, Peter Okoye as he announces the death of a special father.

2020 had been a year to forget for Nigerian entertainers as they’ve been forced to battle the deadly pandemic Coronavirus with the rest of the world.

Top personalities in the entertainment industry have been pronounced dead due to the

deadly virus and sometimes due to the complications.

With the year going to it’s later end, Peter Okoye of the defunct P-square group have joined

the list of top stars to lose a love ones this year as he announces the death of a father who seems very special to him.

Peter Okoye who now known as Mr. P took to his official social media platforms to share the sad news with fans and followers.

The award-winning singer shared a black picture that showed is mourning someone close to his and captioned with a message that reads ‘RIP papa’.

Top personalities in all walk of life have joined him in mourning the death of his father as

they stormed his timeline with condolences message, a move that showed how much they love and adore him.

Though he has failed to reveal who the mystery man but it’s obvious the man has played a huge role in his life.

This man death comes day after he released his much anticipated single ‘Follow My Lead’,

a single that have been received on all streaming platforms.

Peter Okoye lost his father, Mazi Moses Okoye in November 2014 and he was buried amid

tears from friends and families of the talented singer.
