OFFICIAL: PSG announce Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager

MParis Saint-Germain (PSG) has officially appointed former Tottenham Hotspur coach, Mauricio Pochettino as their manager.

The announcement comes two weeks after they Sacked Thomas Tuchel, the same coach that took PSG to their first-ever champions league final in 2020.

Tuchel leaves the Parc des Princes after two-and-a-half years in charge.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss was shown the exit door after his failure to win against

Strasbourg on Wednesday night as they fall to third on the table with just just one point off




the top spot currently held by Lyon.

Meanwhile, Mauricio Pochettino spent two years as a player with the French Champion

and has been tipped as the new manager that will be tasked with steadying the ship.

Thomas Tuchel won six trophies with Les Parisiens, including back-to-back Ligue 1 crowns

and led Paris Saint-Germain to the UEFA Champions League final last season where they lost to Bayern Munich.
