Toyin Lawani was (born on March 1, 1982, 43 years old) into the Lawani family of Ekiti State in the South West of Nigeria, to her father, Yisah Lawani, a former commissioner of Police, and her mother, Princess Atinuke Babalola, a serial entrepreneur (also royalty).
