Popular Nigerian comedian and actor Mr Macaroni has been allegedly charged for breaking Covid-19 protocols during his participation at the #OccupyTollGate protest.
It would be recalled that creebhills reported that Mr Macaroni, whose real name is Debo Adebayo and Michael Adenola was arrested by the Nigerian police force at the Lekki Tollgate and thrown inside a Black maria.
Their arrest sparked a lot of debate on social media as citizens of the country dragged the government for arresting innocent people fighting for their right.
A new development has now surfaced on the arrest of Mr Macaroni as the talented comedian had been charged with breaking the Covid-19 protocols during the peaceful protest.
According to the report, Mr Macaroni was charged with breaking the 50 person gathering rule and disobeying the order not to protest in the country.
