Multiple award-winning Nigerian afrobeat superstar, Wizkid has achieved another milestone with his late latest album, ‘Made in Lagos’ as it becomes the longest charting African album this decade.

Wizkid who is regarded as one of the biggest artists to have ever graced the music industry in Africa dropped ‘Made In Lagos’ some weeks back and it has been well accepted by fans and lovers of good music.

The hit album which has been accepted globally has spent thirteen weeks on the Billboard World Albums chart.

Wizkid who couldn’t hide the excitement that comes with breaking another barrier in the music industry took to his official fan page on Instagram on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 to announce the news

Making the announcement, the page wrote “#MadeinLagos has now spent 13 weeks on the Billboard World Albums chart. It is now the longest charting African album this decade. Swipe up to stream let’s get more weeks.”

Wizkid will be eager to continue the good run as he has been spotted in studio alongside young talented artists who are also doing well for themselves in the industry.
