Multiple award-winning singer and songwriter, Simi has taken to social media to pen a heartfelt message to her mother who added a new age today, May 29.
The joy of every mother is to see their children succeed in their endeavours and this has been a dream come true for Simi’s mother.
Her daughter has become one of the most sorts after talent in the country and she’s not taking the relationship that exists between them for granted.
Simi some hours ago took to her official Instagram account to celebrate her mother’s age in a heartwarming manner.
The beautiful screen diva noted via the post how much she loves and adores her mother, noting that she wouldn’t have been what she is today if not for her.
Sharing some beautiful her mother, Simi wrote:
People say when you have a kid, you appreciate your mom more. That’s not how it happened for me. I’ve always known you’re incredible. You’re the most selfless person I know. These past couple of years especially – I really don’t know what I would have done without you. Forever 21. My first love. Your happiness is priority for me and I love you. God bless you in all the ways He blesses the people He loves. Happy birthday Shola baby.
PS: Until last year, her birthday was actually on the 30th. So my mother and my daughter have the same birthday. She prayed for this. (I didn’t lool). Therefore, I’ve moved my mother’s birthday to the 29th of May.
