FC Barcelona is really looking to strengthen their squad for the next season as they announced the signing of Eric Garcia from Manchester City on a free deal.
The 20-year-old center-back is signing for the next five seasons and will have a release clause of 400 million euros.
Eric Garcia was formerly a Barcelona football academy player before transferring to Manchester City some years ago after Pep Guardiola became Manager at the Club.
He Becomes the Second Signing under the Joan Laporta Second Phase as President of the Barcelona FC after winning the Elections in March.
Sergio Aguero was also said on as a free agent yesterday after his contract at Manchester City expired on Sunday.
More also on the transfer scenes, Barcelona has intensified contacts with Ousmane Dembélé’s representatives in recent weeks.
Barça has proposed a long-term contract of five seasons, which Dembélé is now studying. The talks are on the right track, but reaching an agreement won’t be easy.
