Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State moments ago was captured on camera protesting with the citizen of Oyo state during the nationwide peaceful #June12Protest.
The governor could be seen addressing the peaceful protesters, while also admonishing them against any form of violence.
Seyi Makinde made headlines some days ago when he announced a 25% School fees reduction to the students of LAUTECH.
Seyi Makinde made this known on Twitter as he shared images from his visit to the institution.
He wrote;
We visited the LAUTECH, Ogbomoso, this afternoon. I assured the students that now that we have secured sole ownership, the university would no longer experience incessant strikes. I also announced a reduction of school fees for all students by 25%.

A statement by spokesman, Taiwo Adisa, quoted Makinde as saying he was thankful to the students for according him a warm reception.
He expressed happiness about fulfilling the promise of securing the sole ownership of LAUTECH for Oyo State.
