Controversial former U.S President, Donald Trump via an official press release celebrates with Buhari for banning Twitter in the Country.
Trump, said he should have banned Twitter and Facebook when he was in the White House, but claimed he was discouraged by Mark Zuckerberg.
The statement was posted to Twitter by reporters from several News outlets because Trump himself is banned from that platform, as well as Facebook, over the deadly Jan. 6 attack at the U.S. Capitol by his supporters.
Trump’s congratulatory message comes days after Nigeria suspended Twitter indefinitely on Friday June 4, after the Social media platform deleted President Buhari’s tweet for ‘violating its abusive behavior policy.’
In January 2021, Donald Trump Became the First President to be Impeached twice by the U.S house of Representatives for inciting insurrection at the Capitol, which claimed the lives of five people and a Police Officer. (READ IT HERE).
