See the Umbrella Man that overthrown President of Guinea, Alpha Conde in a Coup d’état in guinea

The guy carrying the umbrella to cover his boss and also saluting his boss is Col Mamady Doumbouya.

His boss is president Conde of Guinea. Yesterday Col. Doumbouya overthrew his boss’ government.

The 83 years old Alpha Conde is now in detention and Doumbouya has taken over the government and dissolved the constitution of Guinea.

Conde has been president of Guinea since 2010. He was only allowed to serve two five-year terms but had wanted a 3rd term.

The situation remains unclear as Conde’s government said in an earlier statement that an attack on the presidential palace by special forces had been “repulsed.”

The report said soldiers were seen driving at high speeds through the capital near the presidential palace and urging residents to stay home.

A military source told local media that the only bridge connecting the mainland to the Kaloum neighborhood, which houses most of the ministries and presidential palace, had been sealed off by heavily armed troops posted around the palace.
