“Stop discrediting my man’s work” – Simi defends Adekunle Gold’s songwriting skills

Award-winning female singer and songwriter, Simi has defended her husband, Adekunle Gold’s songwriting skills after a fan claimed she’s the brain behind his hit songs.

2021 has been a memorable year for Adekunle Gold as the talented singer has been consistent in dropping hits after hits.

Just months after blessing fans with ‘Sinner’, a song that saw Simi featuring as a video vixen, Adekunle Gold collaborated with Davido some weeks ago to drop ‘High’.

‘High’ has become the new anthem in the street and it won’t come as a surprise if Adekunle Gold ends the year with another award to his name.

However, a fan on micro-blogging site, Twitter voiced out his opinion on Adekunle Gold’s recent success, noting that Simi must have been writing his songs.

The fan tweeted; “Simi don write hits for Adekunle Gold taya.”

Not too pleased with this, Simi replied to the fans by insisting that it’s high time fans stop discrediting her husband’s work.

According to Simi, Adekunle Gold works hard and he’s an awesome writer.
