Reece James set to return to Chelsea, ahead of Club World Cup

Reece James is on track to return for Chelsea in time for the Club World Cup next month. The defender hasn’t played since his hamstring injury in December.

Since his absence, Chelsea has struggled to find form winning matches as they went from being 5 points clear at the top of the English Premier League table to the third position after now League leaders Manchester City went on 12 games winning run, making 7 wins out of 7 in the ever-busy December footballing schedule of matches in the English league.

They currently lead Chelsea by 10 points with a game in hand, to sit at first, while Liverpool is currently second with 48 points having two games at hand.

The Transfer market would be closing in less than five days from now, and clubs like Barcelona are trying their best to make use of the days left to secure the much-needed players they are interested in.

As it stands, they might be able to seal a loan deal for Wolves winger Adama Traoré, according to the latest reports, Barcelona’s agreement with Wolves for Traoré is total. The winger has significantly reduced his salary to make the move possible and is absolutely delighted to return to his former club. Barça signs him on loan, an announcement would be made tomorrow.
