African giant and Grammy Award-winning singer, Burna Boy in a new post on social media revealed that all he ever wishes to do is to perform on many stages as he really desires to be left out of all the politics.
Burna Boy said this on his official Twitter handle in the early hours of Saturday.
“I thank God and the world for giving me This. I just wish the world would leave me out of all politics and just let/watch me perform till I Die. The only time my heart feels genuine peace is On stage and that’s where I want to live and Die.”
The singer had announced on his Instagram page on Friday that he was not going to be performing at the AfroNation 2022 Music Festival in Puerto Rico due to circumstances beyond his control.
“I’m extremely gutted that I won’t be at the AfroNation in Puerto Rico, due to circumstances beyond anyone’s control. I will make it up to you all for sure! Love, Damini,” Burna Boy wrote.
Meanwhile, other Nigerian artists including Davido, Olamide, Psquare are also billed to perform at the music event.
