Toyin Lawani, a fashion entrepreneur and housemate on the popular TV reality show ‘Real Housewives of Lagos,’ has stated that her husband, Segun Adebayo, and other family members accept her decision to participate in the show.

“When I was first contacted to join in the program, I was happy but I was contemplating if I really wanted to do it,” Lawani remarked during a Zoom chat with several journalists and show housemates. The reason for this was that I had recently given birth in London (United Kingdom). I was thinking about a lot of things. “There is no such thing as being too big to try something new and unusual.” I have a lot of enterprises that I run in tandem with being a mommy. I had my baby just a few days before I was called to appear on the show. It wasn’t easy, but I had the support of my spouse and other family members. In them, I have a great support system.”

“I know (being on the show) would open more doors for me and my business,” Lawani, the Chief Executive Officer of Tiannah Empire, continued. My family is very supportive of my work. My daughter, who attends school in London, had to fly down to (Nigeria) to help me at one point since I needed to nurse my baby while still appearing on the show.”
