Despite being the world’s richest man, Elon Musk claims to be homeless and ‘rotates’ around friends’ homes

Elon Musk is no longer Twitter's largest shareholder

Elon Musk, the world’s richest man, has stated that he is homeless and lives with friends.

The Tesla and SpaceX founder claimed that he spends very little of his money on material items and only acquired a jet to allow him to work more.

Musk told TED in an interview that aired on Monday, April 18, that he owns no home, not even in Texas or near Tesla’s headquarters in San Francisco.

Instead, the billionaire, who is worth over £200 billion, chooses to stay in the bedrooms of his many pals.

According to the 50-year-old, “I don’t even have my own apartment right now; I’m staying with friends. When I go to the Bay Area, where much of Tesla’s engineering is done, I basically sleep in friends’ spare rooms.”

Musk has also shunned the wealthy lifestyle, which includes a yacht and nonstop vacations.

He stated, ” “I don’t have a yacht and don’t go on holidays, so my personal consumption isn’t particularly high. A plane is an exception, but if I don’t utilize it, I’ll have fewer hours to work.”
