“Since them give me admission, I never start school o” – Rema Calls out ASUU

Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage name Rema, has urged the Academic Staff Union of Universities to call off their long-running strike.

The Union, which embarked on a nationwide strike on February 14, 2022, and has yet to make any progress despite multiple meetings and negotiations between the union and the administration.

The musician, who is eager to return to school after being admitted to the University of Lagos in January, pleaded with the union to terminate the strike because he hasn’t attended a class since his enrollment.
