People’s Democratic Party presidential candidate and Former vice president of Nigeria, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar celebrates his party’s flagbearing success with his Moroccan wife.
The Adamawa born politician was dressed in a white top and grey trouser with his wife, a pink and white combined dress when he hopped on the dancing floor, grooving to a foreign song.
Atiku won the presidential primary election of his party PDP by 371 votes against his runner up Nyesom Wike’s 234 votes.
Although, that’s the first hurdle in the race before the main presidential election that includes all external political parties participating.
Rumours has being circulating that Atiku bribed delegates to clinch this victory, but it doesn’t invalidates his effort through it.
However, his fourth Moroccan wife who he married some years ago erupted some controversy when his Igbo wife Jennifer Douglas Abubakar was not accepting of his move.
Atiku Abubakar’s other wives were more accepting of the Moroccan new wife than Mrs. Douglas-Abubakar, whom sources said was considered to be the worst hit by the development.
The duo were seen together in what seemed to be a joyous and electric atmosphere with friends and families.
