Former Senator Dino Melaye, who represented Kogi West in the National Assembly, has released a new song in support of former Vice President and presidential challenger Atiku Abubakar.
This comes after Atiku Abubakar faced backlash after removing Facebook and Twitter postings criticizing the alleged blasphemy death of Christian girl Deborah Samuel by a mob in Sokoto State.
After several Northerners warned not to vote for Atiku Abubakar in the 2023 presidential election, he removed the social media postings less than an hour later.
However, many Nigerians criticized him online, alleging that Atiku Abubakar is just thirsty for power because of his greed and entitlement mindset, not because of his service.
A video of Dino Melaye singing and vowing support for Atiku Abubakar has emerged online amid the accusations, stating that there is no turning back on Atiku’s ambition to become president in 2023.
Dino Melaye asked everyone who feels they would vote for Atiku Abubakar to perform the song with him.
He said: “We have decided to vote Atiku, we have decided to vote Atiku, no turning back no, no turning back”.
