Now that the dramatic release date for the Ghostbusters sequel Ghostbusters: Afterlife has been announced, there is only one question that needs to be asked: who are you going to call to go see it with you?

ET can confirm that Wednesday, December 20, 2023 has been designated as the official delivery date for an untitled Columbia Pictures sequel.

The news comes only weeks after Ghostbusters: Afterlife chief/author/maker Jason Reitman and essayist/maker Gil Kenan affirmed on June 8 (Ghostbusters Day) that the end credits of Afterlife indicated – – that the surprisingly realistic continuation will get back to the first movies’ New York City and firehouse setting.
