NNPP denies reports Kwankwaso has agreed to be Peter Obi’s running mate

Kwankwaso confirms, speaks on President, VP allocation

The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has disputed reports that its presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso, has accepted to be Peter Obi’s running mate.

Remember that Kwankwaso recently gave a BBC Hausa interview in which he revealed that the party is in talks with the Labor Party to establish a merger for the 2023 presidential race.

Peter Obi1 Many Nigerians have been debating who will be the presidential and vice-presidential candidates if the two parties merge.

The rumour mill was abuzz earlier today with suggestions that Kwankwaso had agreed to be Obi’s running mate.
