Zidane Iqbal has reaffirmed his dedication to Manchester United by signing a fresh deal that will keep him playing for the club at Old Trafford for the foreseeable future.
Iqbal, who recently turned 19 years old, was a late replacement for England international Jesse Lingard in the Group F match.
The native Mancunian, whose father is Pakistani and whose mother is Iraqi, got his first taste of playing for another country earlier this year when he played for Iraq in World Cup qualifiers away in Lebanon and Iraq.
Taking to his Twitter account, the youngster wrote;
“Delighted to have extended my stay at this wonderful club.. Alhamdulillah”
