Chiwetel Umeadi Ejiofor was (born on the 10th of July 1977) in London, England. Arinze Ejiofor and Obiajulu, two middle-class Nigerian Igbos, raised him. His father, a deceased doctor, worked as a doctor, and his mother was a pharmacist. Zain Asher, his younger sister, wants to work as a CNN correspondent.


When Chiwetel was only 11 years old, he and his dad were on a trip to marriage in Nigeria, where his father died in a car accident while being involved in a head-on automobile accident. He also got some injuries that left scars on his forehead.

Moving on to his schooling, Ejiofor went to Dulwich College in southeast London, where he also took part in a performance of Hamlet by the acting department.
