Due to her increasing fear of marriage as a result of the frequent failure of weddings in the entertainment industry, including that of Funke Akindele, well-known Nigerian actress Ruth Eze has given her lover her engagement ring.
The actress said in a post on her Instagram page that she was so terrified of getting married that she opted to return her engagement ring because she couldn’t bear to end a happy marriage after putting so much work into it.
“This thing called marriage is so scary, I just returned my engagement ring. I can’t start something that will end someday,” she wrote.

Since Nigerian singer, JJC Skillz announce his decision to walk away from his marriage with Funke Akindele, social media has been split into two with some blaming the veteran singer for marrying a woman richer than himself while others claim Funke did not accord the necessary respect to her husband.
