Early Life
On September 11, 1964, Mo Abudu was born in London to Nigerian parents from the Ondo state. Of her three sisters, she was the oldest. Her parents returned to Lagos to reside when she was seven years old. From there, she traveled to Ondo State to meet her grandparents, who owned a cocoa estate, where she gained an understanding of Nigerian culture. She attended Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School in Nigeria until she was 11 years old.
