Tonto Dikeh, a Nollywood actress, expressed sadness after a woman she denied to provide financial support to lost her kid.
The mother of one said that she offered a random admirer who contacted her with a heartbreaking tale about half a million Naira.
The account was instantly deactivated once she sent the money, so she later realized that it was probably a hoax.
She claimed that after that incident, she received a similar message from a woman begging for assistance for her ailing son, but she declined because of the first interaction.
She added that she later got news that the woman’s son has died and she now regrets not helping the woman.
Tonto proceeded to lament that people with bad intentions are jeopardizing the chances of those who are genuine.
She added that she will hate herself for a long time for not helping the mother and her son before it was too late.
