On Friday, August 12, 2022, the Labour Party’s Peter Obi, a presidential contender, was given an honorary mention at the RCCG redemption camp.
The politician went to the Redemption City to attend the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s 70th annual convention.
The announcer greeted the former governor, saying, “We welcome Mr. Peter Obi to the Redemption Camp for the first time.”
The congregation of Christians who had assembled from all throughout the nation gave a resounding cheer in response.
Other notable individuals at the RCCG convention were Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel and the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, who was represented by his wife.
It would be recalled that a week ago, the aspirant attended Dunamis’ fellowship which he confirmed in a tweet, “I spent an uplifting and exhilarating 8 hours of fellowship amongst fellow Nigerians @DunamisGospel 2022 Mid Year Praise and Worship, with @DrPaulEnenche, his family and other dignitaries. I used that auspicious occasion to thank God.”
