American Rapper, Cardi B gave a sizeable donation to her former school whilst expecting that it would have a big impact on the children there.
The Grammy-winning artist showed up at I.S., a place she frequently goes to chill out and while there she informed the students about her $100,000 gift at 232 in the Morris Park neighborhood of The Bronx on Tuesday, September 13.
“I’m hoping we can have amazing after-school activities. Maybe like tutoring or maybe something fun like a music program. Y’all like music, y’all like to dance?” she asked the students.
She continued: “Maybe we can have an amazing after-school program. But I will be donating $100,000 to the school.”
Cardi B responded to a few students’ questions and offered suggestions regarding goals the institution would like to attain in the long run.
“A couple of years from now… Make sure you think long-term,” she said. “Where do you want to be in a couple of years from now?”
