Before the presidential elections, popular Nigerian musician Falz, real name Folarin Falana, says he won’t disclose which candidate he is backing.
But he said that he would never support a candidate who had been a part of the same corrupt system.
Falz made this known while being interviewed on Arise TV, where he called on Nigerians to vote based on a person’s track record of doing things that favour the people.
He said that the focus should not be on choosing political parties, rather it should be to elect candidates who is known to have been transparent and honest.
”Anyone who is coming from this same system that has brought rot knows that I will not vote for them,” he said.
Falz said political parties in Nigeria have no form of ideologies and even the presidential flagbearers of the partie would be clueless if they are asked to state what their party’s ideology.
