Adedamola Adefolahan, better known by his stage as Fireboy DML, is a Nigerian Afrobeats musician who recently reported that he met Madonna after she sent him a Direct Message.
The YBNL artist said that she sent him a direct message twice, once in 2019 and again in 2022.
He said that the message he received from her in 2019 was just about her telling him that she is a fan who loves his music.
However, the second message in 2022 was when she informed the Vibration crooner that she wanted them to collaborate on a project.
Speaking with TMZ while leaving an event in USA, Fireboy said that his collaboration with her became possible because she requested a feature.
The Pop icon featured the Nigerian singer on the remix of Frozen.
Fireboy DML said that they are friends and it was an amazing thing to be a part of classic and it was basically helping to push Afrobeats to the world.
He said he is honoured to have worked with her because she is a classic woman and a superstar.
